Citings & Sightings of Dante's Works in Contemporary Culture
In 1993 metal band, Deteriorot, released their album Manifested Apparitions of Unholy Spirits with Gustave Doré’s The Erinnys as the album art. Dore’s piece was an illustration from Canto 9 of the Inferno.
